Is 16amp power enough for a PA system and lighting?
In many cases, 16amp power is sufficient for small to medium PA systems and basic event lighting. However, larger sound systems, additional lighting fixtures, or multiple power demands may require 32amp distribution to ensure stable and reliable operation throughout the event.
Do you supply power distribution for outdoor events and festivals?
Yes, we provide professional power distribution for outdoor events and festivals. Our systems are designed to work alongside generators, battery power packs, or existing power supplies, ensuring safe and reliable power delivery in temporary outdoor environments.
What is the difference between 32amp and 16amp?
16amp power is commonly used for individual items such as PA systems or small lighting rigs, while 32amp power allows for higher load capacity and multiple distribution points. The more amps a cable of distribution board the more equipment it can support. 32 and 16 amp suppliers are delivered through blue sockets, 32amp is larger than the 16 amp. If you have these at your location these can often be used. Standard household three pin sockets are rated at 13amps.
Is event power distribution included with stage hire?
Power distribution can be supplied alongside stage hire or as a standalone service. Many organisers choose to bundle power distribution with staging to ensure compatibility between all technical elements and simplify event planning.
